I have a half finished novel that somehow I can’t finish. I can’t write because I forgot how it feels to fall in love. I forgot how it feels to be broken hearted. I really really want to finish this novel like so bad. Frustrating how you can picture the scene in your head but you can’t write with the proper emotions because you’re no longer feeling it.

I do adore writing. But I adore writing about romance the most. It’s frustrating that I can’t even do that now because I’m no longer feeling it. How do authors do it? Do you need a proper experience to write well?
